RUDRAKSHA- a body coolant and mind relaxer!!!

Wednesday 18 September 2013

It will be a common procedure to see our parents tell each and every people to get us the holy rudraksha mala from places like haridwar, kasha, Varanasi or Mathura. We enthusiastically wear it till we step into step into the college where these will be replaced by modern and western bands and chains!!! But it’s a fact to be accepted that these holy chains get to an important part in our life in the college days and above. Why??? What is the use of wearing this???

Rudraksha malas have been used by Hindus (as well as Sikhs and Buddhists) as rosaries at least from the 10th century for meditation purposes and to sanctify the mind, body and soul. The word rudraksha is derived from Rudra (Shiva—the Hindu god of all living creatures) and aksha (eyes). One Hindu legend says that once Lord Shiva opened His eyes after a long period yogic meditation, and because of extreme fulfilment He shed a tear. This single tear from Shiva’s eye grew into the rudraksha tree. The rudraksha fruit is blue in colour but turns black when dried. The central hard rudraksha uni-seed may have 1 to 21 faces.

Composition of a Rudraksha:
Rudraksha is covered by a blue outer shell on ripening so it is also called blueberry bead. The percentage compositions of the gaseous elements present in a Rudraksha was determined by C-H-N Analyzer and by Gas chromatography. Rudraksha beads contain 50.031 % carbon, 0.95% nitrogen, 17.897% hydrogen and 30.53% oxygen. The alkaloids and flavonoids (naturally occurring amines in plants) present in the Rudraksha extracts.
Medical and Scientific facts:
The beneficial powers of Rudraksha are by virtue of its Electrical and Magnetic Properties.
Electrical Properties - The ability to send out subtle electrical impulses & Inductive vibrations and act as a Dielectric as in a capacitor to store electrical energy. Our Human body, The Central Nervous System, Autonomous, Sympathetic & Para sympathetic Nervous System and Various other Organ systems in to can be considered a complex Bio Electronic circuit.
The human body is a complex bio-electronic circuit comprised of the Central Nervous System and the organs and functions it regulates. Streamlined blood flow has a powerful rejuvenating impact on this circuit and serves to prevent stress-related disorders caused by the damaging effects of excess energy on neurons and neurotransmitters. In essence, Rudraksha beads help bring about the well-known "relaxation response" which is the ultimate goal of meditation, yoga, tai chi, biofeedback, and countless other Alternative Medicine methodologies.
Claimed medicinal properties of Rudraksha:
Nervous weakness, insanity, epilepsy, melancholia, other mental disorders, insomnia, headache, jaundice, hypertension, fever, cholesterol lowering, diabetes, stress, and impotence.

Proven medicinal properties of Rudraksha:
Defensive accomplishment of E. sphaericus (Rudraksha) extracts in experimental bronchial asthma, protection of guinea-pigs against bronchospasm, Microbial activity against several microorganisms including against Salmonella. Anticonvulsant activity...

Ø  Although there is no rigorous research done on Rudraksha (may be people does not recognize its importance or due to its holy status they don't want any research) but yet, some scientist and scholars have done great job in exploring Rudraksha's medicinal and scientific parameters.
Ø  Dr. S.P. Gupta, in the year 1985 has shown that consuming Rudraksha powder orally can cure high blood pressure without any side effects.
Ø  Mr. Vasantrao Vaidya from Maharashtra has shown that when Rudraksha is dipped into water, the electrical property of water changes.
Ø  Dr. Gode has proved that Rudraksha has sterol and polyphenolic compounds and does not have any alkaloid. The Rudraksha have been found to balance/neutralize any excess charge deposited on human body.
Ø  One of the best known research papers was published by Dr. Suhas Roy of the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology in Banaras, India.Dr. Roy's research confirmed that the healing powers of Rudraksha beads flow from their electro-magnetic properties. When Rudraksha beads are placed over the heart, they act to stabilize the heart beat. Similar to magnets, the beads work on the principle of Dynamic Polarity. Blood circulation and heart beat automatically induce a magnetic field around the body and particularly the heart region. Depending on the polarity and intensity of this induced magnetic field, Rudraksha beads transmit subtle electrical and inductive impulses with opposing polarity and intensity. Accordingly, a proportionate balancing force is exerted on the heart to regulate
So as we saw it’s high time for us to understand the importance of these useful seeds. It’s always important to always keep our minds cool and calm in all phases of our life for which our forefathers had given us a proper way. I have found the difference!!!!! Did U???

SCIENTIFIC PROOFS FOR THE EXISTENCE OF DWARAKA AND LORD KRISHNA!!!!

Saturday 14 September 2013

We usually get to hear stories of Rama and Krishna from our granny’s vocals in our childhood. However realistic it might be, but our granny will start referring it to be a fairy tale. By telling the story she will try and impose some good characters possessed by those great people in us. But did anyone imagine these stories which we get to hear are real facts and are scientifically proven??? Did anyone know the powerful city
dwaraka was found beneath the sea??? To get to know more about this read the following post...
In 2001 The Indian Oceanic Institute signed an assignment to investigate the Gulf Of Khambhat situated in the north-western part of India. The divers had their dive with an expectation to find nothing!!! But they were in fact surprised to find some strange structures. A close observation of it gave them clear pictures that those were actually submerged buildings covering an area of 5 sq miles and at a depth of 170 ft. Those structures look like cities submerged thousands of years ago, and even from those times from which main stream archaeologists say there were no cities!!! Crossing the powerful cross currents in the sea the scientists made it possible to dive at the depth of 170 ft.

Some of the remains which were brought back were examined and were found out to be of 32,000 years ago. But the ocean archaeologists confirmed that the area has been covered by water around 9,000 years ago. So this it was finally concluded that the city existed some 9,000-32,000 years ago. But many of Hindu scholars say that Indian civilization existed some tens of thousands even hundreds of thousand years ago. So this finally proved all those Hindu scholars to be right!!!

200 miles away from the Gulf Of Kambat lies the modern city of dwaraka. Examining the soil they found that the soil was once invaded by the sea. Inspired by this clue they began to search for more submerged lands at the near coastal area. At a depth of only 70 ft they found sand stone walls, copper stoned walls and declared it as remains of OLD DWARAKA. And according to Hindu culture DWARAKA is a legendary city ruled by LORD KRISHNA.  It says a demon king called shava attacked DWARAKA and as a measure of protection LORD KRISHNA submerged his city and fought with the daemon. So now this can be properly co-related to the submerged city in the coastal part of India.

For many years the world considered all the Indian writings to be just mythological but now they have started to consider it as true historic remains. So this gave a sweet clue and a proud feeling for we Indians about the birth of our LORD KRISHNA. THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTARY CREATED BY THE HISTORY CHANNEL WILL GIVE ALL OF US A BETTER PICTURE!!!

So the existence of LEGENDARY CITY DWARAKA was scientifically proven and so the existence of Krishna and his divine powers.

TEMPLES- A PLACE TO RECHARGE YOUR BODY!!!

Sunday 8 September 2013

We always get to hear in our childhood days our mom forcing us to go to temples at least once a day. But did any one think or ask as why she did so??? Or did anyone think what is the use of going there??? Here are some scientific reasons as why do we visit temples!!!

There are thousands of temples all over India in different size, shape and locations but not all of them are considered to be built the Vedic way. Generally, a temple should be located at a place where earth's magnetic wave path passes through densely. It can be in the outskirts of a town/village or city, or in middle of the dwelling place, or on a hilltop.

Now, these temples are located strategically at a place where the positive energy is abundantly available from the magnetic and electric wave distributions of north/south pole thrust. The main idol is placed in the core centre of the temple, known as Moolasthanam. In fact, the temple structure is built after the idol has been placed. This Moolasthanam is where earth’s magnetic waves are found to be maximum. And do you know???  There are some copper plates, inscribed with Vedic scripts, buried beneath the Main Idol. The copper plate absorbs earth’s magnetic waves and radiates it to the surroundings. Thus a person regularly visiting a temple and walking clockwise around the Main Idol receives the beamed magnetic waves and his body absorbs it. This is a very slow process and a regular visit will let him absorb more of this positive energy. Scientifically, it is the positive energy that we all require to have a healthy life.

Further, the Sanctum is closed on three sides. This increases the effect of all energies. The lamp that is lit radiates heat energy and also provides light inside the sanctum to the priests performing the pooja. The ringing of the bells and the chanting of prayers takes a worshipper into trance, thus not letting his mind waver. When done in groups, this helps people forget personal problems for a while and relieve their stress. The fragrance from the flowers, the burning of camphor give out the chemical energy further aiding in a different good aura. The effect of all these energies is supplemented by the positive energy from the idol, the copper plates and utensils in the *Moolasthanam. Theertham, the “holy” water used during the pooja to wash the idol is not plain water cleaning the dust off an idol. It is a concoction of Cardamom,Karpura (Benzoin),  saffron, Tulsi (Holy Basil), Clove, etc...Washing the idol is to charge the water with the magnetic radiations thus increasing its medicinal values. Three spoons of this holy water is distributed to devotees. Again, this water is mainly a source of magneto-therapy. Besides, the clove essence protects one from tooth decay, the saffron & Tulsi leafs protects one from common cold and cough, cardamom and Pachha

Karpuram (benzoin), act as mouth fresheners. It is proved that Theertham is a very good blood purifier, as it is highly energised. Hence it is given as prasadam to the devotees. This way, one can claim to remain healthy by regularly visiting the Temples. This is why our elders used to suggest us to offer prayers at the temple so that you will be cured of many ailments. They were not always superstitious. Yes, in a few cases they did go overboard when due to ignorance they hoped many serious diseases could be cured at temples by deities. When people go to a temple for the Deepaaraadhana, and when the doors open up, the positive energy gushes out onto the persons who are there. The water that is sprinkled onto the assemblages passes on the energy to all. This also explains why men are not allowed to wear shirts at a few temples and women are requested to wear more ornaments during temple visits. It is through these jewels (metal) that positive energy is absorbed by the women. Also, it is a practice to leave newly purchased jewels at an idol’s feet and then wear them with the idol’s blessings. This act is now justified after reading this article. This act of “seeking divine blessings” before using any new article, like books or pens or automobiles may have stemmed from this through mere observation.

Energy lost in a day’s work is regained through a temple visit and one is refreshed slightly. The positive energy that is spread out in the entire temple and especially around where the main idol is placed, are simply absorbed by one's body and mind. Our practices are NOT some hard and fast rules framed by 1 man and his followers or God’s words in somebody’s dreams. All the rituals, all the practices are, in reality, well researched, studied and scientifically backed thesis which form the ways of nature to lead a good healthy life.

So from next time when you visit temples remember it, try it and feel it!!!

Share this knowledge with your friends and dear ones!!!
